In Southern California, there is a lot of sun, and it is always warm. People usually great their houses with air conditioning, but it results in high-priced electrical payments, and it is not environmentally pleasant to use that much vitality if you can steer clear of it. So when Kevin Daly Architects created this inexpensive housing in Santa Monica, they incorporated these custom window frames that defend the apartments from the daytime sun hitting the windows.
