Molteni & C
Molteni & C resumed cooperation with the Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, who is known for his passion for austere minimalistic design. The stand of this company was inspired by a traditional home interior, where bedrooms are found next to dining areas, and home plants are coupled with floor-to-ceiling windows. The leading collection of the brand is dubbed “Heritage”.
Medea, Liberty Collection
The Italian brand of Medea had 2 stands: one was quite traditional, and the other was entirely dedicated to the collection in the style of liberty created by the Russian designer Marina Putilovskaya. She was working on the basis of the modern style and cerated every tiniest detail you could find at the stand – from every piece of furniture to every leaf in the patterns of the décor. The most astonishing piece was 3-meter-high doors with inlaid mother of pearl and colored veneers. If elegancy and incredible beauty is something that makes you teak, you would have appreciated this stand for sure.
Colorful, contemporary, eclectic – all these epithets traditionally concern this brand. New details of the furniture, which Bonaldo displayed at Salone de Mobile 2017, were meant to emphasize the company’s ability to constantly evolve. Tables, chairs, accessories, sofas and beds are appealing with not just their formal beauty, but also with their individuality and elegancy.
Ever since its emergence in 1968 this company has been engaged in designing top-quality furniture. The pride of the brand is their unique patented technology for making transforming tables with tops in natural stone. Every design is unique and cannot be reproduced. Among the novelties of 2017 visitors admitted original one-leg tables.
This Italian brand kept in store for Salone del Mobile as many as 5 new collections. Their target audience is people valuing aesthetics and advanced design. And this year the brand paid special attention to interior solutions for kids and teenagers.
The latest collection of the Gervasoni brand is eclectic and bright. Its mood goes in line with the informal lifestyle typical of the company in general and their chief designer Paola Navone in particular.
In 2017 the brand didn’t limit themselves to just bed linen sets and accessories: they created full-fledged exclusive interior concepts. Creative approach, choice of materials, Italian craftsmanship and natural elegancy – these are the reasons why their home textile has so many admirers. And now Ivanoredaelli are diversifying their product range with full-fledged beds and plenty of fur.
Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors
The new collection of this brand was inspired by the naturalistic theme of jungles and tropical plants. Every visitor of their stand found himself in a different world with golden sand wallpaper, jaguar and giraffe prints, dark flamingos and crimson orchids, and many other colors and hues you wouldn’t often find in home interiors.
The stand of this brand was just like always – luxurious and gorgeous. The collections displayed at this year’s Salone del Mobile were already exhibited at Maison & Objet 2017, but those who missed the latter event didn’t hesitate to have a look at their stand in Milan.
