Such handmade shelves would give you additional storage spots for scarves, gloves, hats and other accessories. Of course, the style of this item wouldn’t fit into any interior. But if you’re a lucky owner of a Provence-inspired apartment, a shabby chic space or a rustic-style country house – it’s just what you need. Or maybe you’re just open for experiments and don’t mind eclectics…
What you need is:
- zinc-coated buckets of different sizes (in this project we have 5 pieces)
- acrylic spray paint of versatile colors
- 20 screws (in this project these are 4 60-mm screws for each ) and matching dowels
- a drill with a masonry and metal drill bits
- painting edging tape
- a triangular ruler
- a pencil
Paint the bucket with a dispenser (or a more professional appliance).
When the paint dries out, lean the bucket against the wall and make pencil marks on the walls respective to the holes made in the bucket bottom. Put the bucket aside and drill the holes in the wall. Then insert the dowels into them.
Now you only have to attach the bucket to the wall with the help of screws.
