This Ed Dreier mid century home in Salt Lake City just hit the market and it is a piece of art. It is stated that most of Ed’;s client trusted him to express his creative genius. His creative genius certainly was let loose with this design. The carport is the welcoming architectural element that slaps you with a first impression. The tulip style garage echoes the work of Eero Saarinen’;s work for Knoll. The steel structure housing the floor to ceiling windows is beautifully minimal and echoes the work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson. I just don’;t think it could get any better. I would love to see the new owners taste in art and design. I know the interiors are personal taste but I think the current state of this place is somewhat tragic. I would love to see the interiors meticulously mid century modern.
