If offered the selection, it seems that most men and women would prefer to live in a beautiful residence surrounded by the peace of nature than in a cramped, noisy city. The only dilemma is finding a balance between that property and the all-natural setting in which it sits. Layout Workshop achieved this delicate stability in the Over Water residence in Pune, India.
The building web site is found in between the mountains and a lake. Building any construction in this kind of a wonderful area detracts from the natural attractiveness of the area, which is why the designers experimented with to make as little affect as feasible on the surroundings.
The home sits perched like a bird on 2 columns, with the back facing the mountains for privacy. The glass, wood and steel home contains a large balcony on the water-facing side to let for stunning, unobstructed views of the lake.
Enclosed on all sides by glass walls, the house provides privacy in the kind of wooden shutter-like slats outside of the glass. Natural light is permitted to movement naturally and to touch each surface of the home’s interior.
