6. WOOD OR LAMINATE FLOORS
Wood floor is always up-to-date. For many landlords it is tempting to apply tiles on the floors. This idea seems perfect as this material is the most durable. But when it comes to soundproofing – tiles are not the best variant. So if you don’t want to deal with the neighbors’ complaints about the noise – select wood or laminate.
7. COZY KITCHEN
Kitchen is traditionally designed in a homey manner, which demands some definite décor. Simple and money-saving options are glass pots with macaroni, dried fruit and spices. A few potted plants also would be nice. Pick undemanding specimen – succulents, for example – they don’t demand frequent watering and feeding.
8. LET THERE BE LIGHT
Multi-level lighting system adds coziness to the room. To create lovely atmosphere in a rental apartment, one chandelier in a room won’t be enough. If you expect your potential tenants in the evening, turn on all accent lights in the apartment.
9. MAKE YOUR INTERIOR MORE DYNAMIС
A comfortable dwelling is the one which corresponds to personal preferences. That’s why check your interior for dynamism. This is where transforming furniture, wheeled cabinets and chests of drawers come to rescue. This way the dwellers may change the interior with little effort and no harm to the flooring.
10. CLASSIC-STYLE BATHROOM
A bathroom with classic design is a win-win for rental apartment. Firstly, they are positively valued by most people; secondly, they never get out of fashion. This guarantees that in a dozen of years the dwelling will still look contemporary.
